Sustainability: Hansgrohe AG champions the value of water

Our passion for the element water continuously motivates us to look for new, progressive solutions.

We see water not simply as just water, but as an elixir of life which is as valuable as it is mysterious, and so we aim to manufacture mixers and shower heads which are as close to perfection as possible. They are designed to make people aware of the value of water, and to stir up their respect for this primeval element. This can only succeed if the products are perfect in form and function, and at the same time create an emotional added value so that water on our skin becomes an experience. Ever since our company was in its infancy, an essential part of our business and product philosophy has thus been to treat water in a conscious and responsible way.

Our innovations must therefore ensure that water can be enjoyed, yet at the same time used in a sustainable way. For example by using the Hansgrohe EcoSmart technology, which significantly reduces the water consumption and therefore also the energy consumption of our mixers and showers without sacrificing the comfort. Or the Hansgrohe Pontos AquaCycle systems, which reprocess grey water to be used a second time.
