hansgrohe pre-wall technology is the perfect way to harmoniously integrate your toilet into any bathroom design. The highly functional iFrame universal flushing tanks are tailored to all hansgrohe toilets, whether in classic or bidet versions, and simple to install. The pre-wall system secures even wall-hung toilets to the plasterboard wall, is waterproof and enables simple maintenance if required.
Although the flushing tank and technology disappear into the wall with the iFrame universal, our toilet flush plates in a range of FinishPlus colours provide visual refinement and enable you to match your toilet to the rest of your bathroom, for a beautifully holistic design.
No. Replacing a concealed flushing tank involves a lot of work. The flush system is structurally integrated into the pre-wall and clad. To renovate the system, this section of the wall has to be removed and the toilet area taken back to a shell.
Yes. The bracket on the hansgrohe flush plate can be removed to provide access to the inside of the flushing technology (inspection opening). With a little care and after shutting off the water supply, you can separate the individual parts and remove them ready for cleaning with limescale remover or bathroom cleaner, for example. We recommend having this done by a professional plumber. Whereas you can reach (and detach) the flush trigger components, the float in the water tank and the pipe, limescale and algae can only be removed from the inside of the water tank itself by filling it with cleaning agent. Failing that, you can also try to add effervescent cleaning tablets or soda to the tank and see if this helps.
