An AquaUnit is an elegant product fusion for your wash place, where all elements are optimally aligned. The hansgrohe wash basin system can do everything you’d expect of a conventional basin with a tap – and so much more!
- The AquaUnit uses a shower function to transform water into a completely new, spa-like experience. The wide water spray that arcs up and over makes washing the face and hair in the wash basin truly simple and enjoyable.

With a wash basin system like the Avalegra AquaUnit, all components are optimally aligned both functionally and visually. This means that the wash basin and tap come pre-assembled. This kind of product fusion eliminates the lengthy search for individual products as the bathroom market is so broad that wash basins and taps don’t necessarily go together perfectly. Mismatches can result in reduced comfort and convenience and increased splashback. The pre-assembled wash basin system is both safe and intuitive to use. This is because the Avalegra AquaUnit is the first hansgrohe wash basin tap with a thermostat. The temperature, volume and spray type on the AquaUnit can be conveniently controlled using two cylindrical dials. You can also preset the temperature, so it’s just as you like it when you next switch on the tap.
The Avalegra AquaUnit wash basin is made from the impressively scratch-resistant and durable mineral material solid surface. If signs of use and minor scratches do ever appear, you can simply buff them out again. The non-porous, Matt White finish also keeps deposits such as limescale and dirt at bay – for super-simple cleaning.
