The win for BORA-hansgrohe athlete Matt Walls at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo inspired the hansgrohe brand to launch this unique project. We have joined forces with our partners from the world of professional cycling to create Matt’s very own design statement in the hansgrohe Polished Gold Optic FinishPlus surface finish: We’re giving away the Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL7 in Polished Gold Optic. And you could be in with a chance of winning it!
With a donation of ten GBP or more, you can purchase a raffle ticket through our cooperation partner VIPrize. Higher donations increase your chances of winning and have an even greater impact. All the proceeds will go to the non-profit organization Viva Con Agua, which supports access to clean water and works to improve sanitation worldwide.
Matt has been riding for the BORA-hansgrohe team since 2021. In summer 2021, the Brit won Olympic gold in the men’s omnium for Team GB in Tokyo.
“This is of course a great opportunity for me, and the team has developed immensely over the last few years. In the past, I have ridden both track and road, and I think the track has given me the necessary top end speed to be successful in sprinting on the road. BORA-hansgrohe has developed many top sprinters, and that gives me a lot of confidence. Thanks to the team for this opportunity, I can’t wait to contribute to their success.” – Matthew Walls
Taking social responsibility has always been deeply rooted in Hansgrohe corporate culture. Above all else, the company and its brands support projects that protect the valuable resource of water, both in the Black Forest and far beyond. We also fund not-for-profit initiatives relating to nature conservation alongside social and sports projects.
Experience the Deutschland Tour in the Black Forest: As the title sponsor of BORA-hansgrohe and official partner of the Deutschland Tour, we have joined forces with the town of Schiltach to host the start of the final stage of the race at our company headquarters.
